The Kadence Beat covers WordPress, blocks, and strategies for effective websites. Hosted by Ben Ritner, Hannah Ritner, and Kathy Zant, The Kadence Beat launches at the perfect time. As the WordPress block editor becomes more mainstream and site owners look to do more with WordPress, the beta of full-site editing lands in WordPress administrative dashboards around the world. Making sense of these developments and finding what works towards the goal of effective websites is a big part of The Kadence Beat.

Meet our Hosts

Hannah Ritner

Hannah has been working with Kadence WP since its very early stages in 2014. Support has been her primary focus, but she has played many roles throughout the years in helping people create effective websites. Hannah lives for the outdoors and thrives on a good adventure. Running, biking, and snowboarding make up her favorite pass times. She’s also a midwife and works in a small homebirth practice in Boise, Idaho.

Ben Ritner

Ben Ritner builds WordPress products at Kadence WP, where he endeavors to help people navigate WordPress and build effective websites.

Kathy Zant

Kathy is a Product Marketing Manager for Kadence at StellarWP and has been working with WordPress for over a decade. She has both technical and marketing experience and has worked with a number of brands in the WordPress space. She has helped numerous organizations empower their businesses with WordPress. She’s helped organize both WordCamp Phoenix and WCUS. She currently lives outside of Denton, TX where she can often be found walking golden retrievers or hanging out in horse barns.
